[ARCHIVE] Setting a Custom Date Range for Evaluations

*You are viewing an archived guide. Please click this link for an updated guide.*

Note: By default, evaluations are set to pull in only observations that have been finalized prior to the start date of the evaluation and only those observations that do not already belong on a previously-started evaluation. For mid-year evaluations that will need to pull in observations began after the mid-year evaluation was started, it is best to select a custom date range that will encompass all needed observations (this may mean future dating the end-date of the range).

** Unfortunately, the date range cannot be edited after the evaluation is begun, so be sure to set your dates with consideration!

1Log into your Pivot evaluator account and access your "Dashboard"

2Select "Start Evaluation"
3

Select staff member and rubric.

For step 3, utilize the dropdown to select "Select a Custom Date Range"

4

By default, the end date of the range will be the current date.

You can place your cursor in the text box to manipulate the dates and "future date" if needed.

5Select Begin.

6Once in the evaluation, you may select the "Summary" tab to verify your date range.

7

You may also select the "Previous Observations" tab to view all observations that have been pulled in within the custom date range.

If the evaluation is left un-finalized, observations finalized after the start date of the evaluation but within the custom date range will continue to populate into the evaluation.
