Recommended Testing Schedule

While school districts can choose when to administer each benchmark, we recommend the following schedule:

Grades K - 2Grades 3 - 10High School Math
  • Benchmark #1 (Orange) - October
  • Benchmark #2 (Pink) - February
  • Benchmark #3 (Blue) - May
  • Benchmark #1 (Orange) - October
  • Benchmark #2 (Green) - December
  • Benchmark #3 (Pink) - Second Semester*
  • ISTEP+ Practice (Grade 10 Only) - Second Semester*
  • Benchmark #1 (Orange) - October
  • Benchmark #2 (Green) - December
  • Benchmark #3 (Pink) - February
  • Benchmark #4 (Blue) - May

Customizing Benchmarks

Many schools administer Pivot Inspect benchmarks without modifications in their first year of using the platform. However, we strongly encourage your team to review your curriculum alongside the blueprints in order to ensure that what's tested is measuring what's been taught.
